Saw this over at Raptors Republic. Big dunk from last night’s win over the Wizards, that once again, I did not watch. Love the new layout guys.

The Toronto Raptors are pushing for a trade that would ship out Andrea Bargnani. However, just like last year, they are having a hard time finding a team willing to take on his two-year $22.2 million contract for what he provides. With just a few days remaining, one can imagine the Raptors will continue to push for a trade that can get them some value in return. The likelihood of...
DALLAS (AP) -- With or without Dirk Nowitzki, the Dallas Mavericks have virtually the same record this season -- a losing one.
If they don't start winning at a pace reminiscent of the three 60-win seasons they've had in the Nowitzki era, the Mavericks are likely to miss the playoffs for the first time since the big German's second year in 2000.
But Dallas better be...
Terrence Ross of the Toronto Raptors won the Sprite Slam Dunk Contest on Saturday during NBA All-Star Weekend in Houston. Ross beat defending champion Jeremy Evans of the Utah Jazz in the finals of the contest, allegedly receiving 58 percent of the fan vote. Though the contest was full of missed dunks — several contestants were unable to complete their attempted dunks — there...
As if going to the old school score board wasn’t embarrassing enough for the Wizards on Tuesday night, their No. 1 fan, rapper Wale, didn’t have such a good night either. The D.C. native was sitting court side watching the Wizards take on the Toronto Raptors, when recently acquired forward Rudy Gay motioned to Wale “bro, call me, maybe?”. Whatever the exchange, it seemed...
Local D.C. rapper Wale trash talked Toronto Raptor Rudy Gay last night, prompting Gay to pantomime that he should call him and for Raptors announcer Matt Devlin to refer to' him as a “local rapper”,...

The Raptors hold a team option on the contract of Bryan Colangelo for the 13-14 NBA season.
The Sprite Slam Dunk Contest hasn’t been the highlight event it’s supposed to be in years. The 2013 version had high hopes but things flamed out. The bright lights proved to be too big for James “Flight” White who came out with a dope concept but failed to deliver the money shot. Gerald Green was a bit lackluster after starting out strong.
The final “dunk off” between...

On a night when the scoreboard and shot clock didn't work, the Wizards couldn't getting their timing down all game long. The Wizards went into the All-Star break losing a very winnable game to the Detroit Pistons and looked...
If you’re the type who Tebowed or recorded a ‘Gangnam Style’ parody within the first month of its relevancy, you’re probably in love with the Harlem Shake. The Dallas Mavericks are. So’s anybody with 20 friends, a video camera and a desire for thousands hits. If you’re a sports blogger like, say, Ashley Burns, you’re already so tired of Harlem Shake videos you’re...
Tony Allen was in rare form tonight yapping about how Rudy Gay's comments motivated him tonight, the fans at the Air Canada Centre and Memphis' defense going to another level this season.
On a scale of one to Lil-Wayne-claiming-to-have-humped-Chris-Bosh's-wife, this particular hip-hop/national basketball association beef rates at about a two. The Toronto Raptors played the Washington Wizards last night, and D.C. rapper Wale was sitting courtside. After watching Raptors forward Rudy Gay hit a three-pointer and aggressively make a "call me" gesture towards...
