Raptors’ Andrea Bargnani will miss the remainder of the season with a right elbow sprain. The six-year veteran tweaked his elbow during the first quarter of Friday’s game against the Lakers, did not return, and has been getting tests since. Bargnani averaged 12.7 points and 3.7 rebounds in 35 games this season.

The Toronto Raptors announced Wednesday that forward Andrea Bargnani is expected to be sidelined for the remainder of the 2012-13 season with an avulsion sprain of the right elbow. This injury is not related to his previous right elbow injury that sidelined him for 26 games (December 12 – February 3).
