SLAM Online:
After failing to sign a deal with any NBA team over the past few weeks, swingman Andrei Kirilenko has decided he will play out the season with CSKA Moscow. Via TalkBasket: “Forward Andrei Kirilenko will stay with CSKA Moscow until the end of the season, it has been confirmed. Kirilenko will join up with his CSKA Moscow team-mates on January 3rd, after failing to agree terms with the NBA teams that he and his party have spoken to. This news will certainly make other Euroleague teams stand-up and take notice even more. CSKA are currently the only unbeaten side in the competition and head into the Top 16 as favourites to win Europe’s biggest club competition prize. Kirilenko missed the last five Euroleague games due to a shoulder injury. The original deal for Kirilenko at the Russian club was for three season with an NBA-out clause as the forward was a free agent.”
