Next Sunday, Michael Jordan turns 50. The six-time NBA champion hasn’t laced his Air Jordans up for a professional game in a decade. Yet, one NBA veteran believes the current Bobcats owner still has some game left in him.
Lakers forward Antawn Jamison told ESPN.com on Saturday that the Hall of Famer could still score in double figures, if the situation was right.
“I wouldn’t doubt that in the right situation with a LeBron [James] on his team or with a Kobe [Bryant] on this team, he could get you about 10 or 11 points, come in and play 15-20 minutes,” Jamison explained. ”I wouldn’t doubt that at all, especially if he was in shape and injuries were prevented and things of that nature.”
Jordan has been seen practicing with his Bobcats this season, and although a third return from retirement would be interesting to say the least, it’s probably best if Jordan focuses solely on his 11-39 Bobcats.
Jamison, 36, is a free agent at the end of the season. This might very well be a ploy to butter

The Los Angeles Lakers have had their fair share of issues this season. MIAMI -- The dust certainly didn't settle after the Lakers eked out a win against the lowly Charlotte Bobcats, not when Dwight Howard's father injected himself into his son's awkward relationship with Kobe Bryant.

Kobe Bryant plays Beethoven in Miami
The Lakers pulled it out in Charlotte on Friday night to bounce back from the beatdown that the Celtics gave them – must be something going on that says LA teams had to suffer an embarrassing nationally televised drubbing because that’s also what happened to the Clippers in Miami on Friday night.
Kobe decided when he got to Miami that he wanted to show you that his skills on...
Kobe Says Dwight Howard Just Needs to Do His Job
I had a feeling this might happened from the day Kobe told Dwight Howard to leave the clown act in Orlando. I didn’t think it would be this bad, but losing compounds everything.
Add in the LA media, the general fascination with the Lakers by everyone and it has been better than any battle between Jack Abbott and Victor Newman.
Kobe says the whole thing is silly and broke it down...
Dwight Howard’s dad says Kobe Bryant & Mike D’Antoni are handling his son wrong
The spotlight’s glare can be a bit harsh in LA. it takes a different sort of individual to be able to flow and not let it wreak havoc in one’s mental. Games on Lakers’ Schedule this week: Phoenix Suns (17-35), Los Angeles Clippers (36-17)
The most important game this week for the Lakers is against the Phoenix Suns. Yes, the Suns.
The Lakers have returned home from their longest road trip of the season. Although they ended the trip at 4-3 and lost Pau Gasol along the way, the Lakers have been playing much better as of late.

LeBron knows Kobe is same old scorer
MIAMI A new Kobe Bryant supposedly has emerged in recent weeks for the Los Angeles Lakers. But not for LeBron James.
He believes hes the same old Kobe.
James, the Miami Heat star, couldn't care less that the Lakers star recently had a run of 39 assists in three games and 56 over five. Hes doesnt buy that Bryant all of a sudden has become a facilitator.
Do I buy that? No,...

Lakers Unable to Close Against Heat

Here’s a line you haven’t read this season: The Lakers could have won it. Okay fine, we’ve actually said that before…a lot, because goodness knows the Lakers have come close to winning a lot of games this past season but have always found a way to falter in the end. If we re-watch those 28 losses, I guarantee at least half of them...
