Word On The Game:
New Orleans Pelicans’ center Anthony Davis by all accounts seems poised to have a breakout second season in the NBA. Showing improvement in his all around game, Davis reminded us last night why his unique build an athleticism led to him being the first player selected in last years’ draft. Specifically, with this dunk.
BEST OF MAXIM
Anthony Davis: center of attention
led the Pelicans with an absolute monster line: 25 points, eight
rebounds, four assists, six steals and six blocks. First round? Second
round? No matter when you picked him, you're happy with his body of work
so far. Jrue Holiday added 14 points, eight assists and two threes. The lack of steals is disappointing.
New Orleans is quickly becoming Lob City in it’s own right. Blame on second year star big man Anthony Davis who seems to catch anything lobbed within 20 feet of him.
Davis and the Pelicans got a good win against the Bobcats, and the unibrow through down this monster alley-oop off a pick and roll.
