Awesome idea from the New Jersey Nets’ Anthony Morrow, who plans to honor the late, great Drazen Petrovic during All-Star Weekend. From the Bergen Record: “Anthony Morrow plans to wear a throwback Nets Jersey when he represents the Nets during All-Star Weekend. But here’s the cool part: Morrow, who has been waiting his whole career to make it to the three-point shootout, doesn’t want his name or number on the back of the jersey he wears. Morrow plans to honor the late Drazen Petrovic by donning his famous No. 3 during next weekend’s three-point shootout in Orlando. ‘I always said when I got in the three-point contest, I would wear his jersey,’ Morrow said, adding that when he signed with the Nets before the 2010-11 season, Petrovic’s jersey was the ‘first thing I saw when I walked in.’ Morrow will be the first Net to participate in the three-point shootout since Petrovic in 1992.
