Antonio McDyess will look to find a team after sitting last season out.credit: wikimedia.org After 15 years in the NBA and a year of retirement, former All-Star Antonio McDyess is reportedly looking to make a comeback. That’s right, the same Antonio McDyess that is 38 years old and spent his last two seasons averaging less than 6 points and 6 rebounds per game. McDyess certainly had some good years in the league, but you have to think that his time is pretty much up. In the 2000-2001 season, he averaged 21 points and 12 rebounds for the Denver Nuggets, but that was over a decade ago. Via Yahoo: After sitting out a season in retirement, former All-Star forward Antonio McDyess is contemplating a return to the NBA. McDyess, 38, has been working out in Houston and has instructed his agent, Andy Miller, to gauge league interest in him.  “He would consider coming back and I will be reaching out to select teams,” Miller told Yahoo! Sports on Thursday night. You have to wonder how serious the market is for a 38-year-old power forward who sat out last season. That being said, the Knicks did go out and sign 38-year-old Rasheed Wallace after he sat out the past two seasons. Unfortunately for McDyess, the rest of the league might not be as ambitious as the Knicks for old power forwards. The best chance for Antonio McDyess to find a team will probably be as an end of the bench guy who serves as a veteran leader for some of the younger players. Other than that, I can’t see it. You have to believe his time is over. -Mark Evans, Assistant Manager/Editor of Content Follow us on Twitter   The post Antonio McDyess Considering A Comeback appeared first on Pass The Pill.
