The Last Angry Fan:
And I’m sure most people that know Harrellson wished he didn’t.
Landry Fields posted a picture of Harrellson’s shiny, Kentucky themed sh*t kickers to his Twitter account, presumably while the Knicks center was wearing them. Based on the overall hideousness of these things, I’m going to say that Harrellson isn’t up on the latest fashion trends. Sorry, but unless you’re Jeremy Lin, there’s no way you can pull these off in New York without coming off as some peckerwood ******* with too much school spirit, which would be a totally unfair assessment of a fine upstanding young man like Josh Harrellson.
What are the odds that come summer Harrellson’s matching these badboys up with a pair of his favorite jorts? 10 to 1? 2 to 1? Even money?

You can’t spell bowling with out L-I-N.
Watch as Linsanity takes over a bowling alley as the New York Knicks celebrate Knick Bowl 13. The boys did not disappoint as fan favorite Jeremy Lin and an Amish looking Amare Stoudemire show off their bowling skills for the Garden of Dreams Foundation. Thanks to Knicks Now for these picture from the event:
HOW ABOUT A RAISE?
Trade deadline, trade deadline, trade deadline. . .
It is on everyone's mind right now as the days count down to March 15. But while general managers around the league slowly pick and choose their spots to play "Let's make a deal," there is an open market this offseason that will draw even more attention: NBA free agency. While Dwight Howard, Deron Williams, and...
ANAHEIM, CA - Trying to defend their CIF Southern Section Division 1AA title with four new starters, Long Beach Poly found themsleves trailing 62-59 with just seconds left in the game and junior guard Roschon Prince had the ball in the front court with a chance to tie. Mater Dei forward Stanley Johnson stoled the ball away with just three seconds remaining to help the Monarchs secure...
It takes a lot of guts to make a bold statement and backing it up if you are Baron Davis of the Knicks.
He has alreadly predicted that the Knicks will win the NBA finals this year because of their play.
His beliefs are the Knicks are playing winning games, having a deep roster and should be an NBA title contender.
I think this is a little overboard on what he is saying about...
Career grand slam leader Roger Federer likes Jeremy Lin.Well, since every professional athlete on the face of the planet these days seems t have an opinion on New York’s Knicks overnight sensation, Jemery Lin, I guess no one should be shocked that all-time career grand slam leader Roger Federer, a huge hoops fan, has his own thoughts on the overlooked Lin.The likable Lin has made...
Wilt did the unthinkable 50 years ago today. While playing for the Warriors he scored 100 points during a win over the New York Knicks. In todays league I don’t think this will happen anytime soon, but never say never. Pictured above is a rare 1992-1993 card from the Upper Deck Basketball Heroes set dedicated to Wilt and his outrageous accomplishments. Happy 100pt day…
The Knicks lead the Celtics 56-51 at the half behind Carmelo Anthony’s lead, who has 12 points on 4-for-7 shooting. Anthony has demonstrated how Jeremy Lin can successfully run Mike D’Antoni’s point guard driven system while allowing Melo to shine. The Celtics have been able to stay in this game thanks to four turnovers for [...]
1) New York Knicks- not only because I'm a Knicks fan. It's a fun brand of basketball to watch, and the defensive prowess of Tyson Chandler is conjuring up past images of Ewing and Oakley. Chandler was more deserving of an All-Star appearance than Roy Hibbert. Once Stoudemire and Anthony begin to percolate (shout out to Clyde) the Knicks will only face opposition from...
On a weekend devoid of a marquee matchup, Lonnie Smith has an opportunity to steal the spotlight as he meets fellow junior lightweight and former U.S. Olympian Vicente Escobedo in a 10-round crossroads bout in the latter’s hometown of Woodland, Calif. The fight, scheduled for Saturday, (Smith's 25th birthday), will be aired on TeleFutura's Solo Boxeo. Though Wladimir...
Previously on That NBA Lottery Pick, we featured a clip of those adorable Knicks kid reporters who got some of the players to sing some Justin Bieber. In this clip, the question that they wanted answered is, "Who is the stinkiest member of the Knicks?":(Courtesy of Business Insider)
In this edition of The #NBA Is Tweeting, DeMarre Carroll seeks a massage, JR Smith claims to have room for more tattoos, Channing Frye attempts to stunt, and Terrence Williams writes a book. Also, Qyntel Woods posts old photos of the Jail Blazers, Lance Stephenson gets underestimated, and Dante Cunningham wakes up and takes a dump. Thank you for sharing, Dante.
CLNS Radio’s season-long initiative to cover every Boston Celtics game, continues tonight as the C’s square off against the New York Knicks. The Boston Celtics (19-17) beat the New York Knicks (18-19) 115-111, today at the TD Garden in Boston, MA.
A game that got away from the Knicks as Paul Pierce knocked down a game tying three-pointer in the 4th quarter to send the game into OT.
Then the Celtics won the game in overtime which you can see coming once they tied it up at the end of 2nd half.
POINTS OF INTEREST
Boston is a very good defensive team. They allow the 3rd lowest points per game in the NBA.
Balanced attack but cannot keep up with us on transition game.
Rondo's name is in trade rumors.
KEYS TO THE GAME
Should be interesting to see how our Knicks take on the Celtics now that we're back at full strength.
* Limit Paul Pierce who is very efficient...
