When Kobe Bryant hits the bench with two fouls, they certainly look it.
The last moments of the first quarter were mostly good for the Mavericks as the Lakers searched for offensive options and and actually got a few positive plays from Jordan Farmar and others.
But with Pau Gasol out, the Lakers are a little short when it comes to bench production.
The first quarter ended with the Mavericks up 24-21 in spite of a 3-pointer by Farmar to close it.
