Over the weekend, artist David Garibaldi was center stage during the New York Knicks/Cleveland Cavaliers halftime as he put together an impressive portrait of Knicks star Jeremy Lin.

Check out David doing the entire portrait in under five minutes and showing his master work off to the Madison Square Garden faithful:

The proceeds of the sale from the painting will be donated to The Garden of Dreams Foundation and the Jeremy Lin Foundation.

Toney Douglas Re-Emerging Just in Time?

Without Amar'e Stoudemire and Jeremy Lin, the Knicks have relied upon their role players to pace the team offensively. Missing two key starters, the team is certainly happy enough to receive support for Carmelo Anthony anywhere they can find it.Lucky for them, there are potent offensive options off the bench. Steve Novak has capitalized on his ability to spread the floor well...

Artist David Garibaldi paints portrait of Jeremy Lin in five minutes at halftime of Knicks game (Video)

While many halftime acts at NBA games feature some sort of acrobatics, artist David Garibaldi provides a nice alternative. Garibaldi paints portraits in a short amount of time, all while dancing and working with rhythm. On Saturday, he performed at halftime of the Knicks-Cavs game in New York and painted a portrait of Jeremy Lin in about five minutes. The entire performance was...

Landry Fields takes out referee under hoop

Landry Fields accidentally took out referee Bill Kennedy when The New York Knicks took on the Orlando Magic on Thursday night. Landry got fouled hard on a drive to the basket and the push and momentum carried him all the way to absolutely annihilating Bill Kennedy who was an innocent observer on the baseline. Knicks Shouldn't Sweat Loss to Pacers Too Much

The Knicks wasted a season-high 39 point performance from Carmelo Anthony and let a 17 point lead evaporate in the final quarter, losing to the Pacers 112-104 last night. The late game failure resulted in the Knicks allowing 40 fourth quarter points by the Pacers, watching Danny Granger (surely hungry for a win after losing to the Knicks in back-to-back games earlier this season)...

Box of Ziti’s for April 5, 2012

After a bit of back and forth I have decided that it is best that I do Box of Ziti’s by myself, since the logistic (just ask what Brown can do for you I guess) of getting the games from the others is not so easy to then put them into a post. So, with the beginning of Major League Baseball, I figured this would be the perfect time to start back up, but before I do here is the usual...

Mike Woodson wants J.R. Smith’s shorts pulled up

Mike Woodson is going to make a professional out of J.R. Smith, and he doesn’t care what it takes to accomplish that goal. The Knicks interim coach has been speaking with Smith since the guard’s Tuesday ejection against the Pacers. He wants Smith to make many changes. “I told him I’m going to continue to coach him as long as I’m coaching the team,” Woodson said Thursday...

Knicks Magic Game Thread

So we're down 9 early Melo is already giving up open jumpers and holding the ball on O the refs are already punishing us for being new york and TC is our best player so far... lets go knicks...

Refuel with NBA All-Star Carmelo Anthony

New York Knicks and five-time NBA All-Star and Olympic gold medalist Carmelo Anthony, or “Melo” as he’s nicknamed, may not be well known among tennis fans — but he should be! “Melo” (don’t confuse him with the Brazilian doubles player Marcelo Melo!) has been around tennis and even incorporates a tennis ball in his training workouts to strengthen his dribbling skills...

The Tortoise And The Hare: Can The Knicks Hold Off The Bucks?

As the playoffs approach, a familiar opponent is assaulting the New York Knicks slippery grasp on the eight seed. The Milwaukee Bucks and Knicks have been trading possession of the eighth seed back and forth for weeks. Suddenly, Milwaukee has emerged from the dead to re-enter the race. After watching Carmelo Anthony’s 39-point performance in a loss to the Pacers it’s a...

Pacers finally beat Knicks

This is what happened today. When I switched on the TV, the Pacers were up by a point in the second half against the New York Knicks, a team they recently lost to twice in back to back games. Granted, this time the Knicks were without Jeremy Lin and Amare Stoudemire, but Carmelo Anthony had been playing well and the Knicks' confidence was high.Of course, the Pacers soon started...

The Kings Make Sense For Terrence Williams, And Terrence Williams Makes Sense For The Kings

After being drafted 19th overall in 2004, Dorell Wright spent six seasons warming the bench for the Miami Heat.  In 2010, he signed a deal with the Warriors and went on to score more points in that single season than he had in his first six combined. After being selected 5th overall in 2005, Raymond Felton ran the point in Charlotte for five seasons, where he averaged 13 points...
