CHICAGO -- Richard Hamilton made a successful return from a foot injury and the teammate he sent back to the bench, Marco Belinelli, scored 17 points in his return to a reserve role as the Chicago Bulls beat Washington 87-77 on Saturday at the United Center. Belinelli had started the previous 12 games in place of Hamilton, who tore the plantar fascia in his left foot on Dec. 1. Coming off the bench early this season, Belinelli struggled. But on Saturday, he was aggressive throughout his 33 minutes on the floor, hitting 7 of 16 shots. "I think it's his confidence," Chicago coach Tom Thibodeau said. "When you're new to a team, I think he was trying to fit in, trying to learn the system. He's already proven to be a good player in this league, so you knew it was a matter of time. Once he had a better understanding of his teammates and his teammates had a better understanding of him, he's very good." Hamilton looked reasonably sharp, hitting 4 of...

Report: Derrick Rose Dunking, Going Full Speed, Will Begin Traveling With Team

As far as what Rose has been doing in practice, it’s much of the same as what has been previously — walking through “dummy” offensive sets, shooting drills — but according to a person familiar with the proceedings, he’s also dunking the basketball occasionally, going full speed when it’s called for and participating in staples of Bulls practices, such as defensive slides...

Rip Hamilton Likely To Return Saturday With Limitation On Minutes

Bulls guard Richard Hamilton, who missed the last 12 games with a torn plantar fascia in his left foot, sounded optimistic about returning to the lineup Saturday night against the Washington Wizards. “It’s going to take time,” Hamilton said. “I know for a fact Thibs just doesn’t want to put me out there and just say, ‘All right you know what? Play 30 minutes a game....

Bulls Getting Healthier, Get Luol Deng and Richard Hamilton Back

The Chicago Bulls have managed what most would have thought impossible when the season started; they've remained surprisingly competitive in the Eastern Conference without their superstar, Derrick Rose.  They have done so while battling injuries to numerous other role players on the team, but they got a boost last night when Luol Deng and Richard Hamilton returned to the...

Bulls' Hamilton, Deng expected back vs. Wizards

Chicago Bulls guard Richard Hamilton and forward Luol Deng are expected to play Saturday night against the Washington Wizards, ESPN Chicago reported. Hamilton has been out the past 12 games with a left foot injury and Deng injured his right ankle Tuesday against the Houston Rockets. Rose, who is recovering from a torn anterior-cruciate ligament, has participated fully in non-contact aspects of practice recently, according to the report. The plan is to...

Report: Bulls Likely To Keep Nate Robinson

Another person with knowledge of the situation told CSNChicago.com that it won’t affect the Bulls’ roster moves, particularly in regard to backup point guard Nate Robinson — and his non-guaranteed contract, of which the team must make a decision about by Jan. 10 — who is likely to remain with the squad for the rest of the season. via CSN Chicago

Word is floating around the sneaker community that the Air Jordan 13 “Bred” is  slated for a release date of January 12th. This typical of a Quickstrike...

Wizards-Bulls Preview

Coming off an unexpected extended break, the Chicago Bulls are hoping to be a bit healthier as they try to bounce back from a pair of poor performances. Hosting the NBA-worst Washington Wizards should also help.
