The Los Angeles Lakers unfortunately split their two-game roadie before the All-Star break, with a tough loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder last night 100-85.
Kobe Brynat had an off shooting night again, going 7-for-24 from the field to end up with 24 points. Maybe the heavy minutes he’s been playing has caught up to him a little bit on this road trip, or he possibly just had a couple of poor shooting nights in a row, and its probably nothing more than that. I wouldn’t be surprise if Bryant is on cruise control this weekend during the All-Star break in Orlando, but then again it is the The Black Mamba.
Pau Gasol finished with another solid game of 22 points and 9 rebounds, while Andrew Bynum finished with a double-double of 14 points and 12 boards. No flashback moments for D-Fish in this game, as well as no other Laker stepped up to have a relevant impact on the outcome of last night’s contest.
