The Road trip started out good with a win over the Clippers, but now the Nets have lost back to back games against Utah and the Kings. Tonight the Nets travel to Denver to conclude their four game west coast trip. They take on a Nuggets team that just lost a close game against the Portland Trailblazers. This will be a tough test playing the second night of a back to back on the road, generally regarded as one of the toughest things to do in not only basketball, but in all sports.
The Nets hung around with the superior Utah Jazz, throughout the whole game but could not get over the hump as the Jazz controlled the game and was never in any grave danger of losing. The Nets did have a chance to cut the game real close but Raja Bell hit a ridiculous clutch shot with 2 minutes to go in the game. Generally not regarded for his scoring prowess, I would let him take that shot all night. Still the Nets played a...
