Charles Barkley isn't a quiet guy, he'll tell you what he thinks even if it'll offend you. San Antonio Spurs fans know that the hard way, after all he's called the San Antonio women "fat."
With exciting wins over the Oklahoma City Thunder and Memphis Grizzlies, you might be convinced that the Spurs were the best team in the West or at least that they're better than those teams they beat. Barkley has a differing opinion.
He stated on the Dan Patrick Show that OKC is "by far" the best team in the West, followed by the Grizzlies, and then the Spurs at third.
The Spurs are an older team and injury ridden, but at least for now you'd have to give them the nod as the better team out of those two.
The schedules have differed with San Antonio having the tougher schedule with a ridiculous amount of road games and back to back sets this early in the season. They've managed to go on winning streaks without their only two small f...

Charles Barkley has never been a big fan of the New York Knicks. As far as he is concerned, New York is a team that creates a ton of buzz every season only to fall short of expectations. Last season, he shot down rumors of John Calipari potentially returning to the NBA to coach the Knicks by saying Coach Cal would never be drunk enough to take such a horrible job. Sir Charles is...
After claiming he's been saying "for years the Knicks are a rabbit," Charles Barkley now believes the team is "closer to a Playboy bunny this year," whatever that all means.
One of the things I love most about Charles Barkley is his candor. You may not agree with his assessments but he always speaks from an informed POV. Which means that his latest statements are definitely going to catch the ire of New York Knicks fans. Chuck compares the team to a Playboy bunny and [...]
The Phoenix Suns will be back in black next season. The Suns will bring back their black alternate uniforms from the 1990s for 10 games starting in 2013, the team announced Friday. The duds that legends like Charles Barkley and Kevin Johnson wore while making the Suns a perennial championship contender will make a reappearance as part of the NBA’s “Hardwood Classics” promotion...
Floyd Mayweather is known as a pretty high-stakes gambler. He may not have reached Charles Barkley levels as of yet, but he’s certainly getting there. On at least a couple occasions, Mayweather has won money betting on the New England Patriots, and his fiancee, Shantel Jackson, has also been known to place a wager or two. Still, betting on the Pats makes a certain amount of sense...
A while back, TNT analyst Charles Barkley asked one too many questions of San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich regarding the game versus the Heat and in true Pop fashion, gave Chuck the "business."
Well it seems ESPN's Chris Mullin learned from Barkley's mistake when he interviewed Pop during last night's Spurs-Jazz game.
Check out the two having...
