Nothing like a summer league game, with thousands of dollars on the line.
That’s exactly what’s going to happen according to Larry Brown Sports, who is reporting that Baron Davis and rapper The Game have apparently place a $50,000 bet on a Drew League game their teams will be playing in this Sunday.
Davis’ LAUNFD team will face rapper The Game’s Money Gang squad in a matchup that’s sure to now take on a heightened importance if the rumor is true.
The Game reportedly Tweeted out that Davis called him, and asked him to bet $50,000 on the ballgame.

According to the site Jersey Chaser, James Harden and Kevin Durant are expected to be in LA doing some work for Nike this weekend, and they are expected to play on Davis’ team.

Kevin Durant did in fact show up to perform for the Drew League crowd on Saturday, and according to reports, he did not disappoint.
Durant did it all, reportedly scoring, dishing, and hitting three’s from all corner’s of the gym. Durant played for Baron Davis’ LAUNFD, as they lost to The Game’s Money Team, 92-90.
Durant reportedly missed a three at the buzzer.
