The San Antonio Spurs have announced they've recalled Aron Baynes from the Austin Toros. [Press release] Spurs recall Aron Baynes: http://j.mp/Wwlu3v  #GoSpursGo(@spurs) With the team announcing Boris Diaw (back) will be out for tonight's game against the Sacramento Kings, it makes sense for the Spurs to have another body in the paint if needed. Baynes' short lived stints in Austin will keep the Aussie big man fresh when needed in situations like this. The Toros use the same schemes as the Spurs, so Baynes will also be learning more of the system as he goes along between San Antonio and Austin.
