The San Antonio Spurs have played 47 games so far this season. DeJuan Blair has made an appearance in 34 of them. For those too lazy to do the math, that’s 13 games that Blair hasn’t even seen the floor. It’s pretty clear that he’s one of the last guys on the bench and with the way Tiago Splitter has been playing and with the addition of Aron Baynes, you have to wonder if Blair’s time in San Antonio may be drawing to a close. Blair is staying optimistic though. After logging 19 solid minutes against the Dallas Mavericks on Friday where he scored 22 points on 10-13 shooting, he sent out an uplifting tweet. “Thanks for all the support I needed that game right there! I still got it dont let the DNP's fool u! Just waitin on that moment! #Gospursgo” So Blair thinks he can still play, the question is whether or not his “moment” will be with the Spurs or another team.
