LOS ANGELES -- Blake Griffin had a good feeling about his shot early in the game, and when that happens, there's only one thing to do.
"When shots are falling, honestly, you just keep shooting," he said.
And so he did. Virtually everything he threw toward the basket went in. His 37 points on 14-of-16 shooting propelled the Clippers to a 112-105 win over the Phoenix Suns at Staples Center, their eighth consecutive victory.
Griffin had an eventful night. He fouled out with 3 minutes 23 seconds left in the fourth quarter, and the Clippers' 10-point lead was pared to six in less than a minute. And he was at the center of a scuffle with Suns forward P.J. Tucker, who threw a forearm at Griffin after they fell to the floor under the Phoenix basket with 5:28 left.

NEW YORK -- Suns forward P.J. Tucker has been suspended one game without pay for elbowing Los Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin in the chin, it was announced Tuesday by Rod Thorn, NBA president of basketball operations.
The incident occurred with 5:28 remaining in the fourth quarter of the Clippers' 112-105 win over the Suns on Monday at Staples Center.
The Phoenix Suns have had the Clippers’ attention ever since Dec. 30, when they beat the Clippers by 19 points at Staples Center.
Now you can add the Suns as yet another “rival” after the season series took a more physical turn during the Clippers’ 112-105 home victory Monday night.

PJ Tucker and Blake Griffin got into a bit of an altercation in tonights Clippers/Suns game. Both players hurt the floor after a play, and while they were tangled up, Griffin put his elbow on Tucker’s neck. Tucker responded with a punch, and was promptly ejected.
