The Portland Trail Blazers have reached an agreement with free-agent forward Craig Smith.
Smith spent the past two seasons with the Los Angeles Clippers, averaging 5.4 points and 2.4 rebounds in 48 games last year.
The 28-year-old was drafted by Minnesota with the 36th overall pick in the 2006 draft out of Boston College.
It capped a busy Thursday for the Blazers, who also signed free-agent guard Jamal Crawford and used the amnesty clause on Brandon Roy.
