Found November 07, 2013 on Sports Injury Alert:
The Charlotte Bobcats’ point guard Kemba Walker took a hit from New York Knicks’ Metta World Peace in the third quarter of Tuesday’s game. Despite injuring his shoulder, Walker returned to the game after he received x-rays during halftime, and then helped the Bobcats’ record a win at Madison Square Garden. According to the Associated Press, Walker’s MRI resulted as a negative and he came back to play in Wednesday’s game against the Toronto Raptors. For the season, Walker is averaging 15.8 points per game and 5.0 assists per game, both dipping from last season. But its still early in the season and a slow start should not be too much of a concern for the Bobcats, who look stop being the joke of the league after adding Al Jefferson to the team.
