Golden State Warriors center Andrew Bogut has a bone bruise in his surgically repaired left ankle.
An MRI exam on Friday revealed the latest injury complication for the often-hobbled Australian big man.
Bogut sprained his ankle during the Warriors' loss to Oklahoma City on Thursday night, keeping him out of Friday's game against the Lakers. He has missed 49 of Golden State's 80 games this season.
Bogut's MRI results will be examined by the doctor who performed offseason microfracture surgery on his ankle. The Warriors should know more about the extent of the injury in the next few days.
Golden State has clinched its second playoff berth in 19 years, and began the night leading Houston by a half-game for sixth place in the Western Conference.

The Golden State Warriors have made their first playoffs since 2007, when they famously upset the San Antonio Spurs as the 8th seed in one of the most entertaining playoff series of all time. However, they are far more than the upset special of 2007, they are a legitimate playoff team with a chance to make some noise in these playoffs. So much has happened to the franchise over the...

Cavaliers rookie Dion Waiters got his car filled with popcorn earlier in the season.

Although, the attempt Golden State Warriors point guard Jarrett Jack tossed up at the end of the first quarter against the Oklahoma City Thunder was pretty fun to watch.
As you can see, Jack caught an...
Jack would have come closer had he kicked the ball.
This “shot” got me thinking about this old ad…
During Thursday night’s Thunder-Warriors game at Oracle Arena, Jarrett Jack threw one of the worst 3/4 court heaves, ever. His attempt at the first quarter buzzer landed a good twenty rows into the stands. Maybe next time, Jack.

Metta World Peace shocked everyone by returning to the Lakers lineup earlier this week 12 days after he had surgery to repair a torn meniscus in is left knee. The procedure was supposed to keep him out six weeks. The comeback prompted Kobe Bryant to liken him to Wolverine. Chris Duhon went as far as calling MWP Superman. Superman, huh? Jarrett Jack’s handles are his kryptonite apparently.
