CHICAGO (AP) -- Carlos Boozer had 24 points, 12 rebounds and five assists to lead the Chicago Bulls to a 94-89 preseason victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday night. The Thunder played without three-time NBA scoring champion Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook, who were rested by coach Scott Brooks. Serge Ibaka picked up the slack for the Thunder with 24 points on 10-of-17 shooting. James Harden, who won the NBA's Sixth Man Award last season, got a rare start and scored 13 points but was just 2 of 17 from the floor. Ibaka did not play in the fourth quarter. Luol Deng scored 21 points and Joakim Noah finished with 15 points and 10 rebounds for the Bulls, who led by as many as 14 early in the third quarter. Harden made two free throws and then found rookie Perry Jones for a dunk to cut the Chicago lead to 87-84 with 44.1 seconds left, but Boozer answered with a fadeaway jumper to put the Bulls up 89-84 with 34.4 seconds to go. Richard Hamilton secured the game for Chicago with four free throws in the final 13 seconds. He finished with 13 points. Jones scored 14 points in 20 minutes. Boozer scored 13 points and Deng added 10 in the first half to help the Bulls take a 51-40 lead at the break. After scoring eight points in the first half, Kirk Hinrich sat out the second half with a right groin strain.

Latest episode of Derrick Rose's 'The Return'

Unless you have some sort of soul, I find it very hard to believe that you would not like Derrick Rose. This spot aired mainly in the midwest this evening during the Bears MNF win over the Lions, and as a west coast-er I was bummed I missed it. Thanks to the beautiful internet and Adidas I got to see the below:Article found on: Cosby Sweaters

Bulls vow to get by without Rose

The Chicago Bulls insist they shouldn't be written off this season just because Derrick Rose is recovering from a torn ALC in his left knee. Rose isn't expected back until early next year. The Bulls also lost a lot of their ''bench mob'' - the reserves that gave Chicago one of the deeper benches in the NBA and helped the team lock up the top seed in the Eastern...

Kevin Durant: Derrick Rose will come back from surgery even better

No one really knows what to expect from Chicago Bulls point guard Derrick Rose when he eventually returns after rehabbing his surgically repaired ACL. Rose could be out until February or beyond, meaning the Bulls will have to start the season the same way they ended their last one — without their best player. When he does eventually return, you have to wonder if Rose will be the...

2012 NBA Preview: Central Division

It’s weird how the fate of a division can rest on some knee ligaments, huh? Not too long ago, this was Chicago’s division to lose, with former MVP Derrick Rose leading the way. With Rose on the sidelines, the division is completely up for grabs. Chicago Bulls Key Additions: Maquis Teague, Marco Belinelli, Kirk Hinrich, Nate Robinson Key Subtractions: Omer Asik, Ronnie Brewer...

GM Survey Gives Celtics Some Credit

The results of the annual GM survey were published today, and two teams, who are coincidentially our biggest rivals, were in the spotlight. This could either be good news or bad news depending on your perspective. Personally, I like it more when the rivals get such attention because it adds to the pleasure of beating them. Before diving into the results, I'd like to remind you...
