The Milwaukee Bucks were a locomotive, and the young Cavaliers were planted firmly on the tracks. The Bucks shot 57% and made 50, yes, 50 field goals as they absolutely obliterated the Cavaliers in Quicken Loans Arena 121-84. Brandon Jennings led the Bucks with 28 points on 11-of-17 shooting, while Ersan Ilyasova added 20 and 10 rebounds. Kyrie Irving flashed his brilliance with 29 points and 6-for-6 from three point range, Alonzo Gee added 19 points and 8 rebounds, and Tristan Thompson had 15 points and 11 rebounds. Irving left the blowout early, but he also sprained his right shoulder early in the second half. The Cavaliers have now lost six straight and play the Knicks tomorrow night at Madison Square Garden.

Insult to Injury: Bucks Blast Cavs, Irving Injures Shoulder

Last night will go down as one of the more difficult evenings to swallow in this condensed 66-game campaign. Marc Gasol deflects Brandon Jennings pass into the wrong hoop (Video)

Over my years of watching the NBA, I've seen some pretty strange bounces but this incident during a Milwaukee Bucks/Memphis Grizzlies game is pretty funny.Check out Bucks star Brandon Jennings attempting to make a pass to Monta Ellis that ends up getting deflected by Marc Gasol into the Bucks basket: (Courtesy of Sweater Punch)

Synergy Sports: Breaking down the Cavaliers per possession this season

Synergy Sports is a scouting tool used in the NBA to evaluate individual players and teams. The Synergy Sports system completely and thoroughly breaks down every possession, and play, in an exhaustive attempt to dictate tendencies and highlight who does what best, essentially. There's more to it than that, but those are the broad-strokes.In my downtime at Wednesday's game...

Cavs doing it the right way

The Cavaliers continued their stumble toward Lottery Land yesterday in a game against Detroit. The nights of stagnant offense and porous defense are adding up, with the Cavs dropping their fifth straight contest and eight out of their last nine. Its evident the franchise needs another volume scorer to go along with Kyrie Irving and perhaps a big man to take up some of the rebounding...
