John Wall’s absence has not helped Washington’s struggles.credit: washingtonpost.com It’s still early in the NBA season, yet far enough in where every team should have at least one win. Well, unless you’re the Washington Wizards. So far, the team is 0-11, making them the worst team in the league. A lot of people didn’t think they would be much of a threat in the East. But they also weren’t supposed to be this awful. Rookie Bradley Beal is taking it just as hard as anyone. Via The Washington Post: “We just lost. Everybody hates losing. You just see the guys faces, it’s like depression. We haven’t won a game yet,” Beal said. “We still have [71] more games. It’s still a long season. We still have our opportunity to get over .500. Right now, it’s our goal we have to shoot for, is to probably get into the playoffs. We’re going to make it. I have faith in this team. I have confidence in us. I think we’re more than capable of doing it, with the assets that we have. As long as guys keep buying in and never give up, we’ll be fine.” Yikes. To be fair, the team has been without it’s best player and former number one overall pick, John Wall, due to injury. Additionally, big man Nene has only played in two games, and has only played limited minutes in those two games. Bradley Beal has struggled as much as anyone, shooting only 33% from the field. This team isn’t stacked, but they’re talented enough when healthy that they shouldn’t be historically awful. The question now is this: Who will be the team to give the Wizards their first win? -Mark Evans, Assistant Manager/Editor of Content Follow us on Twitter The post Bradley Beal On Team’s Struggles: “It’s Like Depression” appeared first on Pass The Pill.
