You sure that’s all you want Brandon? Jennings has never been the bashful type, in fact his cockiness is one of his most endearing traits, but while he’s a talented player, he has never supplanted himself amongst the NBA’s top point guards. In an interview with Marc J. Spears of Yahoo Sports, Jennings talks about a variety of topics including his future in Milwaukee, his contract and wanting to play for a title contender. “If I take the qualifying offer and become an [unrestricted] free agent there is no way I am coming back,” Jennings told Yahoo! Sports on Friday after practice. “There is no way.” “I just want to win,” Jennings said. “The way I am playing now, I just want to go to a winning team and play like that. I don’t care about being a superstar or being the main guy. I did that [the] first four years. I just want to win and be somewhere where it’s all about winning. “I’m not saying the Bucks aren’t about winning. But I think [a title caliber situation] will help me, motivate my game and then you have to perform.” I don’t know of any title contenders that will pay Jennings the money he’s looking for, he turned down an extension for $40 million over four years last season. If he wants the Bucks to be title contenders he’ll have to raise the level of his play substantially, might want to make an All-Star appearance or two.
