Best Move: Trading to Get Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, and Jason Terry
Trading to get Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett and Jason Terry from the Boston Celtics is somewhat of a coup considering that the Celtics gave up not one, but two future Hall of Framers and a decent backup shooting guard, in Jason Terry. Garnett and Pierce were a major part of the Celtics’ success over the length of their time with the organization.
Both Garnett and Pierce are in the twilight of their careers and neither played at their best last year, but what they bring to the Nets cannot be measured in the stat column. They are both leaders on the floor and lead by how they go about winning games on a nightly basis. Garnett is going to get his points. He plays hard on both ends of the floor.
