NY Sports Nut:
The Brooklyn Nets are hopeful that Center Brook Lopez can play Sunday when they take on the Milwaukee Bucks.
After missing another game, against the Golden State Warriors, Head Coach Avery Johnson said he was “not ready to play in a game.”
The Nets lost to Golden State 109-102. Ex-Knick, David Lee tallied 30 points and 15 rebounds and Steph Curry added 28 points to go along with zero turnovers.
The Nets are on a three game losing streak and could use their starting big man back to right the ship.
In Lopez’s absence, F Andre Blatche has been impressive, averaging 17,7 points and 9.3 rebounds, but Blatche starting has made their bench less effective.
