Starting tonight, Brooklyn Nets games will be broadcasted in Spanish via Univision Radio. The Nets announced today Univision will broadcast 60 regular season games on WADO 1280AM.
Play-by-play voice for the NFL Sunday night and Monday night games for Univision, Rafael Hernández Brito, will be calling Nets games. For an area of New York that has a big Spanish influence, this is a great addition for the Nets.
“We’re excited to bring our Spanish-speaking fans closer to the Brooklyn Nets on WADO 1280AM,” said Brett Yormark. “Brooklyn is one of the most diverse areas in the U.S., and includes more than 400,000 Spanish-speaking residents. We are proud that WADO 1280AM is providing our community and the entire city with a great listening experience for Nets games.”

Nets salute Dr. Dre with special apparel
Nowadays Brooklyn (particularly the Park Slope neighborhood in which the Barclays Center resides) is more closely associated with indie music and hipsters than hip hop, but it’s still a community indebted to the rap community. So, leave it to the Brooklyn Nets to venerate Dr. Dre. Dre’s 1992 solo debut, entitled The Chronic, is one of hip hop’s all-time great records and gold...

Nets Injury News: Gerald Wallace Won't Play Tonight
Gerald Wallace has already missed five straight games. Tonight will mark his sixth. The Brooklyn Nets forward has been working his way back from a sprained left ankle. However, he is not quite ready to take the court again. Wallace initially suffered the injury in the season-opener. He has not played since and is following team instructions for his rehab, says Mike Mazzeo...
Fashion Glance: Joe Johnson’s pre game look for Celtics vs. Nets
I guess Joe Johnson is enjoying playing up north. The Nets beat the Celtics 102-97 but Joe Johnson’s so-so shooting continues. The guard ended the night with 19 points on 6 of 19 shooting but Brooklyn got the W so that’s what’s important right? Check Joe’s pregame steeze; charcoal gray suit, black scarf and [...]

Keith Bogans' hard foul on Leandro Barbosa
The screencaps on this Keith Bogans foul look worse than the GIF. Look, if Bogans snaps Leandro Barbosa’s neck, then we might be talking flagrant. He’s only holding Leandro’s neck to prevent him from crashing to the floor. That’s just tough Brooklyn Nets playoff basketball right there – in November. Williams, Lopez power Nets in Brooklyn
Joe Johnson made the tiebreaking basket with 3:03 left, Deron Williams and Brook Lopez each scored 24 points, and the Brooklyn Nets beat the Boston Celtics 102-97 on Thursday night for their fourth straight victory.
Williams had eight assists and made all nine free throws on a night Paul Pierce had two huge misses in the final minute for the Celtics, who played without injured point...
Recap: Truth’s heroics not enough in Brooklyn
This one started off as we all thought it would-C’s looked tired & sloppy and were out-hustled by the Nets. After 1Q, Brooklyn was up 31-26 and the C’s had given-up 50% FG and already committed 6 turnovers.
Things then started to turn around a bit in the 2nd. Behind some fantastic play from Bass and Barbosa, who had 10 pts in the quarter, the C’s pulled to within 3...
Comments from the Other Side - Nets 11/16
Two things are certain from the comments. Nets fans hate Courtney Lee. They don't like having more Celtics fans at their games than Nets fans. And, they couldn't deny the fact that they caught several breaks from the refs. They also realize that they lucked out with Rondo's absence. Enjoy today's Comments...
No Rondo. Celtics playing the second half of a...
Flop of the Night
Jared Sullinger hasn't gotten much respect from the refs and in fact, he has been a foul magnet. Seems like sometimes the poor kid gets fouls for looking at someone. But against the Nets, Jared was given the benefit of the doubt. That's because he was matched up with a serial flopper.
Reggie Evans is such a known flopper that he was featured in the video that the NBA...

Good times last night despite the loss
Big thanks to everybody who made it out to Two Bucks last night for the Terrell Brandon Appreciation night Tweet-Up. It was a fun time talking Cavs basketball with everybody despite the fact that the good guys fell to Kris Humphries and the Brooklyn Nets.
