The Brooklyn Nets showed off their newest acquisition, C.J. Watson, to the media Tuesday morning at the team’s practice facility in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

The Brooklyn Nets officially announced the signing of guard C.J. Watson on Monday, a move that had been reported more than a week ago. Watson reportedly signed a two-year deal and will serve as a backup to Deron Williams at point guard. Watson played in 49 games, including 25 starts, for Chicago last season. He averaged 9.7 points and 4.1 assists.

General manager Billy King announced the signing Tuesday without releasing terms of the deal.
The Nets acquired the 6-foot-10 native of the Republic of Georgia from Philadelphia in exchange for cash considerations. He was selected in the second round (54th overall) of this year's draft.
