That NBA Lottery Pick:
It’s been awhile since we’ve posted a Funny or Die video on this fair website and recently, some of the notable members of the Brooklyn Nets decided to combine with Funny or Die to create this hilarious sketch.
The premise of the sketch shows Paul Pierce, Deron Williams, Tyshawn Taylor, and Shaun Livingston going back to the old school ways of basketball in a fake promo:

It’s not often that we get to talk about Russian revolution Vladimir Lenin on this website but when his spirit is invoked by current Brooklyn Nets owner Mikhail Prokhorov, it needs to be known why.
Recently, Mikhail spoke with Yes Network’s Sarah Kustok about his team’s current state and she asked him where he came up with the five-year championship plan which is how Mr. Lenin...
The Brooklyn Nets may have championship aspirations and potential on paper, but if they don’t play with a sense of urgency by they might become the biggest assembled disappointment to come through the league in sometime.
According to the New York Post, Garnett was seething mad after the Nets were blown out in Orlando, and fell to 1-2. Andre Blatche said KG let his teammates have...
The Brooklyn Nets have assigned forward Tornike Shengelia and guard Tyshawn Taylor to the Springfield Armor of the NBA Development League.
Shengelia appeared in 19 games last season with the Nets, averaging 1.6 points and 1.2 rebounds in 4.9 minutes per game. In 10 games for the Armor last season, Shengelia held D-League averages of 24.3 points, 8.2 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 2.3...
In many ways, Kevin Garnett on Tuesday looked like the same player Celtics fans came to know and love the last six years.
Garnett turned down a wide-open layup to attempt an unnecessary pass that went out of bounds, then crossed up young big man Derrick Favors for a highlight-caliber drive to the basket a short while later. In less than 14 minutes of game action, the full Garnett...
Seeing Paul Pierce in the black and white of the Brooklyn Nets is still more than a little strange for Celtics fans.
Just four months have passed since the franchise-shaking trade that sent Pierce, Kevin Garnett and Jason Terry down to New York City, but No. 34 seems to already be settling in nicely in his new surroundings.
In a newly released American Express commercial entitled...

Coming into the season, there was much discussion about the Brooklyn Nets revamped roster. Though undoubtedly talented, the question remained: are they too old? New coach Jason Kidd has been constantly questioned of how he would manage the minutes...
Brook (right ankle) and Blatche (left ankle) are a little banged-up, but not severely
With the Nets getting ready to take on the Utah Jazz at Barclays tonight in an attempt to get back to .500, two of Brooklyn's big men are dealing with some minor ailments which may affect how they play this evening.
Both Brook Lopez and Andray Blatche sprained their ankles...
In the wake of their disappointing loss in Orlando on Sunday, the Nets vowed they wouldn’t let it happen again.
For one night, at least, they kept their word.
Going up against the winless Jazz, the Nets immediately jumped out to a 12-2 lead and never looked back, leading wire-to-wire in a 104-88 victory in front of a sellout crowd of 17,732 inside Barclays Center.
The Brooklyn Nets are coming off perhaps their most disappointing loss of their young season. Not many people saw the Nets losing that game, but it’s now past them, and all eyes are focused on tonight’s matchup, the Utah Jazz.
The Jazz are coming into the Barclays Center winless and hungry for a win. The Nets are definitely disappointed in their play, and are looking to right...
Brook obliterated a Utah frontcourt sorely missing Al Jefferson and Paul Millsap, who are playing in Charlotte and Atlanta respectively
After an extremely disappointing loss to the Magic two days ago, the Brooklyn Nets finally got an easy win as they blew out the Utah Jazz at Barclays tonight.
Severely handicapped by injuries, the Jazz were simply no match for a...
After ineffective play inside led to a disheartening loss, the Brooklyn Nets put forth a dominant performance in the paint to help Jason Kidd notch his first win as coach.
They'll try to exploit the Washington Wizards' suspect interior defense Friday night.
The Nets (2-2) were stunned in a 107-86 defeat at Orlando on Sunday, Kidd's first game on the bench after serving...
Who’d have thunk it? The Philadelphia 76ers are 3-0, with wins over the Miami Heat and Chicago Bulls.
The first weekend of the year in the NBA was wildly unexpected. The Minnesota Timberwolves and Philadelphia 76ers are two of the last four remaining unbeaten teams. Meanwhile the Miami Heat, New York Knicks, Brooklyn Nets and Cleveland Cavaliers are all sitting with two early...
Memphis escaped with a win on Monday over the hapless Celtics. Green Nation understands; Basketball Purgatory, AKA "8th Seed Hell", isn't the business, but armed with aging warriors Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett, that's exactly where Boston was heading for the next few years. I salute Danny Ainge for pushing the plunger on the TNT and blasting KG and Pierce to Brooklyn...
When the Boston Celtics traded Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett to the Brooklyn Nets, the focus of the deal was that the team was shipping out two players that had helped them win a championship a few years prior. What many overlooked was what they got in return. It was more or less addition by ...The post How Boston Can Rid Themselves of Gerald Wallace appeared first on The League News.
