Bucks add free-agent guard Ryan Rollins to a two-way deal

Rollins, 21, was chosen by the Golden State Warriors as the 44th pick of the 2022 NBA Draft after a two-year collegiate stint at Toledo. He only played 12 games last season, which he was eventually dealt by the Dubs to the Washington Wizards in a package to complete their Chris Paul acquisition.

This season as a Wizard, he only appeared in ten games and averaged 4.1 points, 1.1 boards, and 1.1 assists in 6.6 minutes of play before the ball club ultimately released him in January.

An intriguing signing for the Bucks 

Days after he got released from Washington's roster, Rollins made headlines when it was reported that he was accused of multiple shoplifting incidents in a Virginia store. Upon being charged with seven counts of petit larceny, he is set to face the court in a hearing later this month.

While this is a considerable red flag on his side, the Bucks might have been sold and convinced about his potential as a defensive and shifty guard. Nevertheless, the team has two open two-way slots, which they should capitalize on.
