Bucks Officially Sign Ryan Rollins To 10-Day Deal
Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports

The Milwaukee Bucks have officially signed point guard Ryan Rollins to a 10-day contract, the team announced in a press release.

Rollins, 24, is 6-foot-4 and was originally selected by the Atlanta Hawks with the No. 44 overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft, then immediately traded to the Golden State Warriors.

He was traded to the Washington Wizards in the Chris Paul deal before the season. Rollins appeared in 12 games with the Warriors last season and 10 with the Wizards this year before being waived on Jan. 8.

He had been accused of shoplifting several days after being released by Washington.

“We just recently learned of the charges against Ryan,” Wizards president of basketball operations Michael Winger said at the time, via Josh Robbins of The Athletic. “We cannot comment on that matter, or the basis for our roster decisions.

“We do take our role very seriously as citizens of the DMV, representatives of our fans and a team our community can be proud of. These are expectations, not aspirations. We’re eager to move forward with our team as constituted and pursue excellence on and off the court.”

Milwaukee (35-21) has lost seven of 10 since hiring Doc Rivers as coach and sits in third place in the Eastern Conference.
