Milwaukee Bucks center Larry Sanders will miss Wednesday's game against Utah with a lower back contusion. Sanders, the NBA's leading shot blocker, took a scary fall late in the fourth quarter of Tuesday's loss to the Nuggets while trying to draw a charge on Denver forward Kenneth Faried. After being helped to the locker room, Sanders underwent initial X-rays that showed no severe damage, but he was waiting to undergo further examination Wednesday."It's pretty painful," Sanders said following Tuesday's game. "I'll just get a couple more X-rays and take care of it so I can get back as fast as I can." There was some fear of serious injury with how hard Sanders fell to the court, but the Bucks are calling the injury a contusion after Wednesday's tests. "We collided in the air and I couldn't catch myself," Sanders said. "Once you're in the air like that, it's any man's game. And me jumping straight up and him coming full speed, usually you're on the losing end of that." With Sanders out against the Jazz, veteran center Samuel Dalembert will make his 16th start of the season. Dalembert had his best offensive game of his career Tuesday, scoring a career-high 35 points on 17 of 21 shooting while also grabbing 12 rebounds. According to the Elias Sports Bureau, Dalembert became the first player in NBA history to post 35 points and 12 rebounds in under 27 minutes. His 17 made field goals also tied him with LeBron James for the most in a single game this season. After being away from the team Monday and Tuesday due to a family matter, Bucks reserve guard Marquis Daniels is back and will be available to play against the Jazz. Follow Andrew Gruman on Twitter.
