MILWAUKEE -- Jumping out to an early lead wasn't a problem for the Milwaukee Bucks last season. Holding on to those leads was another story. It wasn't a problem Wednesday, though, as Milwaukee opened with a 24-7 run and led a game from start to finish for the first time all season in a 99-85 victory over the Indiana Pacers. "Not only getting out to the lead but being able to maintain it, we played some of our best defense of the season in the first half," Milwaukee coach Scott Skiles said. "Some of our best offense as well. We moved the ball well, didn't let their bigs get going." Brandon Jennings and Monta Ellis led the way for Milwaukee, each scoring 16 points. Jennings added four assists and a steal. Samuel Dalembert had another good offensive night, scoring 14 points -- all of them in the first half on 5-of-7 shooting -- to match his season high. After scoring just eight points in the Bucks' first four games, Dalembert has emerged as a...

Bucks Tuesday: Dalembert catching on

MILWAUKEE -- Early on, Samuel Dalembert was becoming an afterthought. Sure, he'd be in the starting five, but in the first four games of the season, Dalembert would exit quickly and sometimes never return.Acquired from Houston in an offseason trade to give the Bucks the true center they lacked after Andrew Bogut was injured and then traded a year ago, Dalembert was watching his...

Bucks Tuesday: Skiles aims to stockpile wins

ST. FRANCIS, WIS.- The Bucks are 4-2. So far, so good, right?Well, yes, but Milwaukee sees an opportunity for more. With two very winnable home games left this week and a trip to Charlotte on Monday, the Bucks want to be 7-2 before heading to Miami next Wednesday. Milwaukee has only been 7-2 or better through nine games twice since 1983. With the Danny Granger-less Indiana Pacers...

Bucks Wednesday: Ellis ready for action

MILWAUKEE -- Monta Ellis and Ekpe Udoh are going to give it a try Wednesday night against Indiana. Both missed practice Tuesday and didn't participate in Milwaukee's shootaround Wednesday. Bucks coach Scott Skiles saw both as questionable, but both told him they wanted to play. Ellis injured his thumb in Monday's victory over Philadelphia. The swelling was so great Tuesday...

Bucks Playing At NBA's Highest Pace

With the quickness of Brandon Jennings and Monta Ellis, it is logical for Scott Skiles to give the offense more freedom.

Bucks send early message with Pacers rout

MILWAUKEE -- Ekpe Udoh let it be known as he came through the Milwaukee Bucks locker room."It's a great day to be a Milwaukee Buck." He'd be hard pressed to find someone who disagrees, at least for one night. Milwaukee sensed a struggling opponent and buried them, leading by as many as 32 points to move to 5-2 on the young season. Bucks try to get things going on home court

The Indiana Pacers had no problem putting the ball in the basket last season against the Milwaukee Bucks, but that was with Danny Granger in the lineup. They could sure use him there now. Bucks Beat Down Pacers

Bucks defense steps up in win over Sixers

Two nights ago, the Milwaukee Bucks watched Boston take control of a close game in the fourth quarter by stepping up and making shots. Day 14: This Overtime Goes to Three

Alternate Title: Andrew Bynum Sadface Line of the Night: It’s time to accept that Brandon Jennings (3.54) is an elite fantasy PG in this league. He might not be in the top 3, but he should at least be in the discussion when you talk about the top 5. Jennings led all fantasy performances last night as the Bucks took down the Sixers with a stat filling 33 points, 4 threes, 5 rebounds...
