Yes, the Milwaukee Bucks are still losing games. But they're sure taking their time doing it. The Bucks' last three defeats have come in overtime, with the latest a 111-110 heartbreaker to the Charlotte Bobcats on Monday night at Time Warner Cable Arena. And this may have been the most painful of the Bucks' five overtime losses this season (1-5 overtime record). Khris Middleton narrowly missed putting the Bucks ahead when his 19-foot jumper bounced out in the final seconds of overtime. After two free throws by Bobcats guard Kemba Walker gave Charlotte a 111-108 lead, the Bucks had 1.6 seconds left. Coach Larry Drew designed a play with Middleton getting free in the corner and taking a cross-court inbounds pass from Giannis Antetokounmpo. Middleton drilled the shot, but a video review showed his foot was on the three-point line, and the Bucks (6-22) fell one point short. "I just caught it and shot it," Middleton said. "I really didn't look where I was. It was a great pass by Giannis. I was just on the line." In the three overtime losses, Middleton has had a chance to win the game or put the Bucks ahead. He missed a shot at the buzzer of regulation in Milwaukee's double overtime loss to the New York Knicks on Wednesday. His jumper at the end of regulation also missed in the Bucks' 114-111 overtime loss at Cleveland on Friday. "Coach has a lot of confidence in him as a shooter and has put him in a lot of situations coming off pin-downs and picks," Bucks veteran Caron Butler said. Any advice for those clutch situations? "It's going to happen, young fella," Butler said. "Keep shooting." The bigger issue for Drew was the way the Bucks squandered an early 18-point lead and let the hard-working Bobcats (14-15) back into the game. Center Al Jefferson paced Charlotte with 26 points and Walker narrowly missed a triple-double, posting 25 points, 10 assists and nine rebounds.
