The Milwaukee Bucks defeated the Cleveland Cavs 90-86 for their 4th straight win on Friday night. Ellis scored a season high 33 points. Positives: Ellis scored 33 points on 12/24 shooting. Still can’t hit a three for his life, and that is alot of shots, but his shot selection seems improved. He also had 6 rebounds, and 4 assists. Sanders had a double double. Negatives: Doran Lamb went 0/5 from the field, and looked a little lost (though I think he had the flu). Plant the feet and let it fly Rookie. The Bucks as a team didn’t shoot that well, 39% from the field, 33% from three. Cavs turned the ball over 27 times, that helps. Observations: Ellis hit some clutch late buckets in this one, just as it looked like the Cavs had a chance to steal the victory. Moute has found his way back into the starting line up. Though I’m not sure that is permanent, as Udoh is still dealing with a sprained wrist. I like Illyasova and Moute off the bench together. Don’t look now folks, but the Bucks have moved to 12-9 and appear to be on a roll. Inserting The Sanders Show into the starting lineup seems to have done the trick. They are tied with Chicago for the Division lead. Tough stretch coming up for the Bucks – LAC, IND, @MEM. Gotta win that Indiana game, and hope to steal one of the other two.
