MINNEAPOLIS -- While this NBA season is still early, it is becoming clear that the Minnesota Timberwolves may no longer be a Western Conference basement dweller. They keep finding ways to win games. On Monday night, Minnesota rallied from a 22-point deficit to win at New Jersey. The Timberwolves followed that up Friday night by turning a game that appeared destined for overtime into a 96-94 victory over the Indiana Pacers. Andrei Kirilenko found Budinger for an easy game-winning layup that keeps the Timberwolves atop the Northwest Division. "The whole play was set up for A.K.," Budinger said. "My running up to the top of the key was just trying to create a little diversion. I waited there. I saw A.K. get the ball and about to shoot the turnaround jumper. I just tried to sprint down and look for a ti...

Theres been no need for him to add "terrible" or ...

Check out this great backdoor play by the Timberwolves Friday night to beat the Indiana Pacers 96-94.I don't know about you but I am tired of "hero ball" during the final seconds of a NBA game where a star player tries to go one on one against a defender while his four teammates on the court just stand and watch as the star player usually takes a ill fated and forced...
