Carlos Boozer had 29 points and 18 rebounds, Nate Robinson made the go-ahead basket with 22 seconds left, and the Chicago Bulls overcame a 16-point deficit to beat the Brooklyn Nets 92-90 on Thursday night.
Jimmy Butler had 16 points and 10 rebounds, Luol Deng scored 18 points, and Robinson finished with 12 as the Bulls shook off the absences of five key players to keep Indiana from clinching the Central Division title they've won the last two years.
Deron Williams had 30 points and 10 assists for the Nets, who had a disappointing return home from an eight-game road trip. Brook Lopez finished with 28 points, but he had a turnover and two misses in the final minute, including a corner jumper that went in and out that would have forced overtime.
Chicago pulled back into a tie for fifth place with Atlanta and climbed within 1 1/2 games of the Nets for the No. 4 seed and home-court advantage in the first round.
And the Bulls did it without Derrick Rose, Joakim Noah, Taj Gibson, ...

Brian Scalabrine is a funny guy, with a cool personality. Scalabrine only averaged 3.1 points and 2 rebounds in 13 minutes during his 11 year NBA career.
Those are not gaudy numbers no, but he was an All Pac 10 performer and honorable mentions All American as a Senior at USC.
The reason I’m explaining this is because when you’re in the NBA and not a star, people seem to get...
Brian Scalabrine is apparently tired of white people challenging him to games of 1-on-1. The reasoning seems to be that no white person, unless they are in the NBA, can beat the White Mamba in a game of basketball. However, as Brian states in his Tweet , “if ur a brother, maybe…but i doubt it.”
Tired of people challenging me 1on1. Let me be direct. If ur white & not N...
The only shots Nate Robinson fears are the kind he takes at the doctor's office.
He doesn't like needles.
He welcomes crunch time.
Robinson showed no fear down the stretch, scoring 12 of his 19 points in the fourth quarter, and Luol Deng finished with 19 after a slow start to lead the Chicago Bulls to an 87-86 victory over the Orlando Magic on Friday night.

While plenty of media types and adult family members flocked to the bar for drinks and exchanged pleasantries, most of the members of the 2013 McDonald’s All-American class...

Despite being short-handed for weeks, the Chicago Bulls have remained in contention for home-court advantage in the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.
After earning a key win in that race last time out, the Bulls will try to take advantage of a visit from the lowly Orlando Magic on Friday night.
The Bulls had five players inactive Thursday but managed to earn a 92...

Beno Udrih and Nate Robinson were trading body blows as the Magic and Bulls played Friday night. There was no knockout punch to deliver. Just a major whiff from the Magic and Udrih.
Orlando had the final possession, down by a point and got the ball to the guy they wanted. That would be the veteran point guard from Slovenia who scored 18 of his 27 points in the third quarter,...
