Chicago Bulls center Joakim Noah avoided suspension for tossing the ball at an official and will be in uniform for Monday's game against the Denver Nuggets.
Noah was ejected from Saturday's contest versus the Toronto Raptors and threw the ball in the direction of official Derrick Collins.
"That was wrong," Noah told ESPN Chicago. "I was frustrated at the call and I overreacted.
"I just feel bad for what happened. I just want to apologize to the ref for coming at him like that. It was wrong of me; I was just frustrated and I just hope he reads this and accepts my apology."
Noah is averaging 9.9 points and 10.0 rebounds per game this season.

POTD 3/25/12: Ed Davis on Carlos Boozer
Ed Davis was trending worldwide on Twitter yesterday afternoon. I read a variety of 140-character descriptions of a nasty dunk by Davis, one of which stated that he’d just thrown down over “like three” defenders. Considering the hype, I was surprised when it took a few hours for the play to pop up on Youtube. When it finally did… I was confused. This is the dunk that...
Luol Deng’s insanely close buzzer-beater
The Bulls are still without Derrick Rose, so it was up to C.J. Watson on Saturday to create a game-winning shot against the Raptors. His shot fell short off the pick and roll with Deng, but Deng was right there to clean up the miss in the nick of time. It doesn’t get any closer [...]

Exactly how I picture old Chicago Bulls fans
Our resident Bulls fan, patphish, can most likely relate to Uncle Al. It isn’t uncommon to find Bulls fans wearing nothing but their underwear as they prepare for the wild ride that is the NBA playoffs. Personally, I would have liked to see Joakim Noah showing off his bucking skills, but Uncle Al is who we need to settle for.
