December 9, 2011 – Chicago Bulls General Manager Gar Forman released the following statement earlier this evening regarding Keith Bogans’ contract status: “Keith Bogans is under contract with the Bulls and we have a December 19th option on that contract. At this time, we are exploring several options in finalizing our roster. We have always respected Keith’s professionalism and we hope to have more clarity on this situation soon.”

Report: Pistons' Rip Hamilton waived, could land spot on Chicago Bulls roster

The Chicago Tribune is reporting the Bulls are going to make a move to sign Hamilton before the season begins later this month, according to unnamed sources. Hamilton will be waived as part of a buyout that will rid the Pistons of the one of the heroes of the 2004 NBA championship - but had grown into a giant headache to the organization.

The veteran guard is widely expected to sign with Chicago once his buyout with Detroit is finalized and join MVP Derrick Rose in the backcourt.
