Bulls’ starting point guard, Kirk Hinrich will return to the lineup Tuesday night after missing 7-games with a right elbow infection. Hinrich revealed that during his absence he spent days in the hospital after an operation to remove a bursa sac and infection.

Kirk Hinrich missed time earlier in the season because of hip and knee issues. His latest injury was the oddest of them all. The Bulls guard on Monday detailed the right elbow infection that caused him to miss the last seven games. ”I punctured my bursa sac,” Hinrich said. “It was an impossible stitch. The feedback that everybody was giving our trainers and from the docs was that there was a good chance it was going to get infected. And it finally did. ”It got to the point where it was going to get pretty bad, and I started feeling sick.
