The Chicago Bulls waived shooting guard Keith Bogans on Friday.
Bogan's release comes one day after the Bulls signed Richard Hamilton to a three-year contract.
Hamilton is expected to compete with Ronnie Brewer for the starting shooting guard position.
Bogans provided little offensive output for the Bulls last season, averaging 4.4 points and shooting 38.0 percent from 3-point range.
He has a career scoring average of 6.7 points in eight seasons with six different teams.
