Found December 04, 2012 on Beyond The Buzzer:
December 4 It’s likely going to take more than a finger injury to keep Raymond Felton out of a game near his old stomping grounds in Charlotte, N.C. The tough-as-nails point guard is nursing a badly bruised left thumb suffered in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s win over the Suns. But Felton’s friends expect him out there tomorrow night when the Knicks visit the surprising Bobcats, led by former St. John’s coach Mike Dunlap. Felton is officially listed by the Knicks as day-to-day, but logic goes out the window when Felton visits the Tobacco Road region.- NY Post

Knicks Injury News: Raymond Felton, Jason Kidd Could Return From Injury Wednesday

Raymond Felton suffered a bone bruise in his thumb on Sunday.  He was wearing a guard over his thumb after the game, and there was some concern about his ability to play in the next few games for the New York Knicks.  However, Felton is expected to play tonight.  And Jason Kidd could be back as well. Ian Begley of ESPN New York reports that Felton will play despite the injury...

Raymond Felton Suffers Bone Bruise

The good news is it’s not his shooting hand, but it’s near his thumb nonetheless. Word is he’s going to play regardless this Wednesday against the Bobcats. Reports are also coming out stating that Jason Kidd will also make his return but off the bench. We shall see tomorrow. “It’s going to be tough, but I’m going to play.”  – Raymond Felton

Novak: Melo Is Best In The League Right Now

Steve Novak has some high praise for Melo.credit: img.spokeo.com Carmelo Anthony has found out that the New York fans and media will be the first to boo him when he plays poorly, and the first to applaud him when he is playing well. Unfortunately for him, until this year, he had received more criticism than applause in his time as a Knick. So far this year, the Knicks have been a...

'Melo denies three-point celebration is gun related

After Carmelo Anthony's 34 points burned the Phoenix Suns on Sunday afternoon, New York Daily News writer Mitch Lawrence took a shot at the New York Knicks forward by saying his three-point celebrations looked like he was pointing a gun to his head and was a bad image for the player and the game. Lawrence wrote: "Here was Carmelo Anthony draining four 3-pointers against...

Kids Foot Locker Ad: Carmelo Anthony schooling 8 year-olds (VIDEO)

In the new Kids Foot Locker commercial, the question all the kids are asking “Is that Carmelo Anthony?” The New York Knicks star, with his competitive nature, is always looking for a game even if it’s against 8 year olds. The commercial features Anthony playing around with a ton of young boys who try trying to live their dreams. Kids Foot Locker’s new Holiday campaign entitled...

Rasheed Wallace Gets Ejected For Yelling “Ball Don’t Lie” (Video)

The New York Knicks are an improved team this season, but one of the biggest reasons I enjoy watching them is because of Rasheed Wallace. Wallace is good money and he proved it again on Sunday when the Knicks squared off against the Phoenix Suns. Wallace already technical against him after he had some post-whistle [...]The post Rasheed Wallace Gets Ejected For Yelling “Ball Don’t...

Knicks G Kidd will play, won't start vs. Bobcats

Knicks coach Mike Woodson says guard Jason Kidd will play Wednesday night against the Charlotte Bobcats but won't start. He says Kidd but will see action at point guard and the No. 2 spot coming off the bench. Kidd has missed the last four games with lower back spasms. He's averaging 8.0 points and 3.4 assists per game this season for New York (12-4). Center Marcus Camby...

New York Knicks Targeting a Christmas Return for Amar’e Stoudemire

The New York Knicks are off to a fast start this season. They are 12-4 and have their sights on winning the Atlantic Division. However, they’ve played the entire season thus far without one of their best players. Amar’e Stoudemire has been out healing from a knee surgery to remove a cyst. The injury was [...] [[ This is a content summary only. Visit my website for full links...

Raymond Felton: Day to Day

Knicks cannot lose Felton or any player on this team for a long period of time, especially with Jason Kidd out with back spasms. Felton is a tough guy, so let’s see if he bounces back for Wednesday’s game. #bbpBox_275375087711047680 a { text-decoration:none; color:#F57F25; }#bbpBox_275375087711047680 a:hover { text-decoration:underline; }An MRI of Raymond Felton's left hand...

Carmelo Anthony & Kevin Durant named conference Players of the Week.

Arguably the leagues two best scorers were on their respective games.

Knicks-Bobcats Preview

Carmelo Anthony isn't ignoring the MVP chants he's been hearing lately, but he also realizes they're a bit premature given the New York Knicks have plenty of season remaining. He sure didn't look like an MVP the last time he faced the Charlotte Bobcats. New York faces a stretch of three road games in four nights and looks to get off to a good start by sending Charlotte...

Sheed’s First Ejection

First off, I would like to congratulate Rasheed Wallace for lasting FIFTEEN games without getting tossed.  For Sheed is one of the few players in the NBA who can pick up 3 fouls within about 30 seconds.  He definitely fouled Scola hard to pick up the personal foul, but the first technical seemed to be a bit of a stretch by the officials.  Wallace simply tried to nudge Scola out...

New York Knicks Unbeaten at Home, But Struggle on the Road

Photo by Matthew Emmons-US PRESSWIRE To be the best of the best, you must win where it counts–on the road. Despite a 8-0 record at home, Mike Woodson’s team presents a 4-4 stance away from Madison Square Garden. In this early stage of the 2012-13 season, there should be no shock that the Knicks sit on top of the NBA Eastern Conference standings due to their strength of schedule...
