Byron Scott said after shoot-around today that he does expect Anthony Parker to be back in action tonight against the Chicago Bulls, although his minutes would be limited. He said that he does plan on re-inserting AP into the starting line-up for this one tonight too.

I asked him if he still planned on using any of the rotation groups we've been recently introduced to over the last few games, which have included Alonzo Gee and Omri Casspi on the floor together along with extended minutes of Ramon Sessions together with Kyrie Irving as well, and he answered that by saying he'll probably go back to the normal rotations and then see what happens.

Here is that video:

Fred and Mary Schmitt Boyer also asked Coach Scott his thoughts on Semih Erden's recent production, and he said that while Semih is still a work in progress he has been pleased by what he's seen lately. He also categorized the current state of Erden's conditioning to be at about sixty-five to seventy percent of the way towards where he eventually needs to be as well.

Here is that video too:

Tip-off tonight is at 7:30 down at the Q. Unfortunately I don't think Derrick Rose is going to be playing in this one though. Or fortunately I guess if you are hoping to squeeze out a victory here tonight that the Cavs probably shouldn't get on paper.

Rose didn't participate in Bulls shoot-around this morning, and is technically listed as a game time decision. Even if he doesn't play however, it is still going to be pretty tough for the Cavaliers to match-up with this Bulls frontline well enough to sneak off the court with a win regardless.

We'll see what happens though.
