Pablo Prigioni is a unknown commodity in the NBA and in particular the NY Knicks. On the Euro stage, Pablo has built a long lasting career. Making the jump to the NBA is tough as it is, but to do so at age 35 is almost impossible. In camp so far, Pablo has impressed with his skills, attitude and conditioning. The NBA season is long and arduous and I can envision Pablo playing some decent minutes and producing when his number is called. Pablo has the right attitude as you can read here: Pablo Prigioni - Via Marc Berman General manager Glen Grunwald had tried to woo Prigioni for years. Before ImanShumpert returns, there will be games Kidd plays backup shooting guard and Prigioni picks up the minutes at point guard.   Original Story Here!

Knicks Camp Observations: Do the Knicks have a Big 3?

I got a chance to check out the Knicks Training Camp Special today on MSG. What I can tell you is this, NY looks hungry. I know it’s hard to tell in a training camp atmosphere, but it looks promising. Clyde, Breen, Hahn, and Trautwig were all present along with all the behind the scenes people who make these shows work. For a second, I was like a kid again when I saw Larry Johnson...

Knicks Rumors: J.R. Smith Says He’s Frustrated Being 6th Man, Wants to be Permanent Starter

If JR Smith was starter worthy he would start, but he is too erratic in everything he does on the court to trust with heavy minutes. He will probably get the chance but only because of the injury to Iman Shumpert. Unlike Carmelo Anthony who said he is willing to do whatever it takes to [...] [[ This is a content summary only. New York Knicks a Little Banged Up?

The Knicks emerged from their first week of training camp a little banged up. This is to be expected and not to be focused on. The older age of the Knicks’ players is something to keep in your mind, but to point at this now, is not the time. First week of camp is like going back to the gym for the first time in months. We are all in pain during that first week, so not to be worried...

Chandler Pumped With Knicks Upgrade At The Point

Many NBA observers foisted huge expectations on the New York Knicks, once they acquired Free Agent center Tyson Chandler last year. However, despite the talent in the club’s front-court, with Chandler joining Carmelo Anthony and Amar’e Stoudemire, a lack of consistency at the point guard slot, kept the squad from reaching the lofty heights that many predicted.New York had a...

New York Knicks: The Hard Work Starts Here

Effort is a personal choice, you either put it in or you don’t. The Knicks are putting in the effort early and proving  how bad they want that elusive NBA Championship. Reading this report earlier on twitter from Jared Zwerling has me crazed with excitement. Effort and Injury, in my opinion was the part of the Knicks’ game that ended their season last year. @JaredZwerling...

The myth of Melo: Is Carmelo Anthony overrated?

Picture Art: Dustin Watson/Dark Wing IllustrationsSome call him great. Others – good. Me – I’d say he’s just badThey had to do it.The Knicks had to trade for Carmelo Anthony. NYC couldn’t pass up the opportunity for the NBA’s...

New York Knicks: Who Is Coach Mike Woodson and why he’s better

Mike Woodson’s journey to the present day is an interesting story, which has seen him go full circle in his professional career. The New York Knicks were the team that selected Woodson in the 1980 draft at number 12 in the first round. Before Woodson’s professional career began he was an Indiana Hoosier to the core. Woodson was born in Indiana, where basketball is almost...
