Found November 13, 2013 on The Scores Report:
That’s the question everyone is asking as the Pacers have jumped out to an 8-0 start. Paul George seems ready to make the jump as an elite player as he’s off to a torrid start with 24.9 points per game, 7.8 rebounds and 3.6 assists while shooting 47.9%. Check out the interview above where he discusses the new season and his desire to help get the Pacers over the top. The additions of Luis Scola and CJ Watson have helped the bench scoring and soon Danny Granger will be back as well. It will be interesting to see how he fits in from a chemistry point of view, but finding minutes for him is a good problem to have. Of course it’s very early. Miami seems to start slow every year and then they turn it on, but Indiana might make it hard for them to catch up. The Pacers seem focused on getting home court advantage, and desire is an important factor in the long NBA season.

Pacers Lance Stephenson lived up to his nickname, “Born Ready” on Monday night. Stephenson got his first NBA triple-double, 13 points, 12 assists, 11 rebounds, and a tech for taunting.     I don’t consider that taunting. Isn’t that what Jordan used to do to opponents? NBA MVP Race: Week 1

This is my first official MVP Race.  Although it’s too early to determine the likely MVP winner, early team success by teams such as Indiana and San Antonio has been propelled by certain players.  Of course, we’re going to see recognizable names near the top during the midst of the season (King James).  However, there may very well be a few players who are just emerging as...

ndiana Pacers’ forward Danny Granger has been out of the lineup for two weeks with a calf strain and he recently shot down reports of a setback with his surgically repaired left knee.  Coach Frank Vogel expects Granger to practice this week. As reported by Candace Buckner of indystar.com, the Pacers did not have a full practice on Tuesday, and Granger, entering the final week...

Pacers Have Miami's Attention With Fast Start

A few months after being taken to a Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals by the Indiana Pacers, the Miami Heat have taken notice of their fast start to the 13-14 NBA regular season. "Yes, they do get our attention," Chris Bosh said. "They're playing confident basketball right now but I still feel like we're the champs and we're going to put it together...

Box Score Breakdown: Grizzlies 79 Pacers 95

Since Paul George made ZERO threes against the Grizzlies Monday night, I’m guessing that’s just an OK sign . . . meaning he’s OK with routing the Grizzlies to remain the NBA’s lone undefeated team. Just a hunch. Okay, if we’re being honest with ourselves, you can’t say you didn’t see this coming. Sure the Grizzlies put together an impressive game Saturday against the...

What's Cookin'? - NBA Weekly Roundup

Setting the Pace   After two weeks of the NBA season, there’s just one undefeated team remaining. No it’s not the defending champs nor is it a team from out West. Instead, it’s the grind-it-out, defense-first Indiana Pacers.   Sitting at 8-0 they’re the only team in the Eastern Conference that doesn’t have at least three losses already. You know how stingy their defense...
