Carmelo Anthony suffered a knee injury and has missed the past two games. He doesn’t seem very optimistic about his knee injury going forward.
Talking with Frank Isola of the New York Daily News, Anthony seemed to think his knee injury could trouble him for the rest of his career. When as asked Carmelo had this to say: “I don’t think I’ll ever be 100 percent.”
That is not very good news for Knicks fans. It’s unclear how much damage he has done to the knee, and Carmelo isn’t said to be scheduled for any surgery. It was revealed that he had fluid behind his injured knee, but no other damage was revealed.
Carmelo is expected to play tonight against the Golden State Warriors, but isn’t pain-free in his troublesome knee. This may be something to watch in the near future.
Here is the tweet from Frank Isola:
Carmelo said of his knee: “I don’t think I’ll ever be 100 percent.” Not sure if that means this season or forever. Either way, not good
