You would have to have been under a rock the past 48 hours to not have knowledge of the situation that has gone on between Carmelo Anthony and Kevin Garnett. Anthony and Garnett indeed did take a beef from the court, and ended with the two having words and needing to be separated in front of the Celtics bus.  That was 2 days ago, and with the Knicks playing well right now, Carmelo would prefer to move on at this point per Ian Begley of ESPN New York. “That’s over with, don’t even want to go back to that,” Anthony said after practice. “Whatever happened between me and Kevin, that’s done. That’s settled, it’s done and over with. We move on, got Indiana (Thursday). No disrespect, but I don’t wanna keep talking about the same thing and beating a dead horse.” “It’s certain things that you just don’t say to men, another man,” Anthony said Tuesday. “I felt that he crossed the line. Like I said, we’re both at an understanding right now, we handled it the way we handled it. Nobody needs to know what was said behind closed doors. So that situation is handled.” Anthony has been a top MVP candidate all season long, and at this point should just move on and get focused on the rest of this year. They will play the Celtics again of course, but the Knicks have bigger fish to fry.
