Carmelo Anthony has weighed in on who his pick for MVP is, and it’s not himself, it’s Lebron.
Both Anthony and James have led strong campaigns for their MVP caliber seasons. But with Lebron’s lights out performance, putting up career high numbers it seems as if James has left everyone else in the dust.
CBSSports has reported on Melo’s stance on the current MVP race
“It’s All-Star break right now. I mean, he’s [Lebron] definitely playing like a Most Valuable Player, so we’ll see what happens when it comes to that.”
“That’s crazy,… What he’s doing right now is unbelievable. He’s scored 30-something points on 11 shots and 10-for-12 and things like that. I mean, he’s on an incredible run right now. I’ve never [seen] nothing like it.”
While Carmelo isn’t quite ready to 100% give the race away to Lebron, he has acknowledged the undeniable–if the season were to end today Lebron would easily be the MVP. Do you agree with Melo’s choice?

Tweet Leading up to the Miami Heat’s game on Tuesday night, LeBron James was the hot topic all day. Talking heads all over the place gawked over LeBron’s streak of games with 30+ points and 60 percent shooting, a streak that he stretched to an NBA-record six games against Portland last night. However, in the [...]

If you were to visit www.wageronsports.com you would likely find short odds on Lebron James retaining his MVP crown, such has been the quality of performances which the Miami Heat star has turned in, game after game, this season. A wager on basketball history was possible in the Heat’s 1,000th victory, a game in which James played...
LeBron James becomes is playing otherworldly basketball. King James scored 30 points and shoot 60 percent in six consecutive games.
In Tuesday's shootout win over the Portland Trail Blazers, James scored 30 points (11-of-15 shooting and 7-of-8 from the line) with a three, six rebounds, nine assists, three steals and two blocks in 39 minutes. It's just not fair. And poor...
MIAMI Did Michelangelo get better after painting the Sistine Chapel? via NY Post:
With the way LeBron James has been performing this season, he’s about to walk away with his fourth MVP award of his career (second consecutive). The Miami Heat have 33 games remaining on their regular season schedule, and unless something drastic happens, you can put LeBron’s name on that trophy.
Melo admits that he’s awed by the historic season LeBron is having...
Carmelo Anthony stopped by to see the Public School Fall Line 2013 as well as the Carlos Campos show at Milk Studios as part of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York City:
LeBron James, the greatest NBA player in this current era is most certainly going to draw comparisons to the greatest player of the previous era in Michael Jordan. And yes at this point the haters of King James (which I was one) certainly have to bow down at this point. He’s better than Durant and [...]
What can I say? I like the 12 Pack format. Here is a quick hitting one to help familiarize you with some of your editor’s thoughts on the 2012-2013 New York Knicks.
1. I was an unabashed fan of the Carmelo Anthony trade and still remain one to this day. I do think you can win a Championship with Anthony as your lead player. Call me an ANTHONY APOLOGIST.
2. Can the Knicks win...
Michael Jordan likes to measure success by championships, and why wouldn’t he? Jordan won six NBA titles with the Chicago Bulls and is considered by most to be the greatest basketball player to ever live. And because of championships, MJ says he would take Kobe Bryant over LeBron James at the moment.
“If you had to pick between the two, that would be a tough choice,” Jordan...
LeBron has been simply phenomenal this season. It will be very hard for any other player to overcome him in the MVP race
I'm sure you've heard of all the ridiculous, superhuman-like stats that LeBron James of the Heat has put up recently in the month of February in which James' Heat have played six games, five of which they have won. A shooting percentage...

The Miami Heat superstars are embracing a new passion. Ballet. Yes, ballet. Our friends over at Gossip Extra tipped us off to the new promotional campaign for the famed Miami City Ballet. The campaign centers around the downtown institutions’ shared 25th anniversary, and draws parallels between ballet and basketball. “What those ladies do, as far as...
More Snow, Please
It's such a fun year in the Asso- ciation, people. LeBron James and Kevin Durant have both taken their games up another notch, which seemed more or less impossible last year; it's not too much of a stretch to say that they might be authoring the two best individual seasons in league history right now. The Knicks, of all teams, turned into a sharing and...
Justin Jackson showed why he is one of the nation's top prospects in 2014 at LeBron James Skills Academy. Here's a highlight reel of him at the event.
The New York Knicks currently sit at 32-17, second in the Eastern Conference and 2.5 games clear of Indiana. Yet, the Knicks are still 2.5 games behind the Heat and nobody quite puts them in the same category as the defending champions.
If you had to ask who the contenders for the Eastern Conference title are, your answere would probably include the Miami Heat. Then you might have...
