ESPN New York is reporting that New York Knicks star forward Carmelo Anthony will get some one on one work in with Hakeem Olajuwon this summer.
Reports suggest that Anthony is looking to refine his offensive and defensive post game, now that he’ll spend most of his time playing power forward for the Knicks in 2013.
Anthony would join Knicks teammate Amar’e Stoudemire, LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, and others in making the one week Pilgrimage to Olajuwon’s Houston ranch for a week of training with the Dream.

It’s a little complicated so try to follow me. The New York Knicks as a franchise are in a peculiar position. Yes, they are finally relevant again and considered one of the better teams in the league. With Carmelo Anthony in tow they have a franchise star and Madison Square Garden was alive last season. Jerome Jordan, the 7’ foot – 250 pound Jamaican born center has not been given the chance to catch on in the NBA. You cannot teach size, so at some point someone will add him to their roster and give him a real look. After accepting an invitation to play on the Knicks summer league team, the former Knick might get his opportunity this season. New York is lacking in a back-up...
The Knicks roster is slowly…very slowly rounding into shape. With 8 players under contract (9 if you include CJ Leslie) the Knicks are in the hunt for some solid pieces to get their roster to 15. With the backcourt most likely set, besides a 3rd sting point guard to push the pace, the focus is now on their frontcourt and wing players to round out the team.
Free agency has picked...

After being waived by the Minnesota Timberwolves in a cap related move, Greg Stiemsma, the 6’11” 259 pound center that earned his contract playing in Boston, was released today by the T-Wolves. He is officially available, and could be a great addition to the Knicks as their primary back up center to Tyson Chandler. With the trade of Marcus Camby and no other center on the roster...
Now that the Dwight Howard saga has apparently ended, the New York Knicks and the rest of the league will step up their final push to free agency and snatch up the remaining players. In the Knicks case they still have some unresolved business. Chris Copeland is still sought after by many teams, and it seems that the Knicks are priced out of the Cope market. It looks to me that they...

Jason Kidd is wasting no time getting in good with his Brooklyn Nets players. He gave some nice compliments to Deron Williams.
Many have wondered how Jason Kidd, a guy who has zero coaching experience, would fair in his first year on the bench. Well, he got his first taste of action Sunday during the Orlando Summer League and he promptly received his first technical foul.
Kidd spent most of the afternoon looking relaxed but intense during the Brooklyn Nets’ first summer league game. But he got off the...
